Harlequin House offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in Cusop Dingle, a pleasant and quiet area adjoining Hay-on-Wye. The house is set in very attractive gardens leading down to a stream, which in turn runs into the river Wye. The shops, restaurants and pubs of Hay-on-Wye are within easy walking distance, and it is an ideal base from which to enjoy both active, or more relaxing pursuits in the lovely countryside of the border areas of Herefordshire and Wales.
Accommodation.
The comfortable accommodation provided by Harlequin House is a double room with ensuite bathroom, and a single room with adjacent bathroom. Full English breakfasts are cooked for guests.
Tariff
The double room ensuite, with breakfast is £60 per night;
The single room, with breakfast is £30 per night.
Activites
For the visitor wanting an active holiday the local pursuits on offer include: walking - Offa's Dyke Path passes through Hay-on-Wye, pony trekking, climbing, canoeing, caving, abseiling, cycling, gorge scrambling, archery, clay pigeon shooting and gliding.
For the visitor who wants a more relaxed holiday break it is an ideal base to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Wye Valley, the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. Hay Bluff, Llanthony Abbey, and the Cathedral town of Brecon are only a short distance away and, a little further, the Cathedral town of Hereford. In addition to the many bookshops, and interesting boutiques and gift shops, Hay-on-Wye has an international annual Literary Festival. Brecon, which is approximately 14 miles away, has a theatre, an annual Jazz Festival, and narrow boat trips on the canal.
